Multicast Addresses for 4 & 5 Series
    5 Series:
You should see multiple multicast groups:
- 225.1.0.0  - Discovery
- 225.1.0.1 – Discovery
- 226.1.2.20 – Central group all units join
For the multicast stream addresses that will be 225.x.xx.xx
X = second octet mod 25, plus (1- Video, 2- Audio, 6 – USB)
xx.xx = last 2 octets of the encoder host IP address.
Example:
Encoder with host IP of 192.168.8.101
- 225.1.0.0  - Discovery
- 225.1.0.1 – Discovery
- 226.1.2.20 – Central group all units join
- 225.19.8.101 – Video
- 225.20.8.101 – Audio
- 225.24.8.101 – USB

4 Series:
A 4-Series unit with Independent Routing disabled will have a multicast stream address of 225.2.xx.xx.
- The last 2 octets will match the encoder host IP address.
The Discovery and Central groups are not IP-dependent, and will always be:
- 225.1.0.0  - Discovery
- 225.1.0.1 – Discovery
- 226.0.0.19 – Central group all units join

A 4-Series unit with Independent Routing enabled will have multicast stream addresses of 225.x.xx.xx
- The second octet will be determined by the stream type (2- Video, 3- Audio, 7 – USB)
- The 3rd and 4th octets of the encoder host IP address.
Example: encoder with host IP of 192.168.8.101
- 225.1.0.0  - Discovery
- 225.1.0.1 – Discovery
- 226.0.0.19 – Central group all units join
- 225.2.8.101 – Video
- 225.3.8.101 – Audio
-
225.7.8.101 – USB
