DICENTIS Wired in a combinable room

The solution for this is to run two DICENTIS servers (and APS2s), one for each room. Designate one server to also be the "combined" room and pair the delegate units from the separated room to BOTH servers. Then put both rooms onto separate VLANs (or entirely airgapped networks). When combined/separated, move the delegate units (either logically or physically) onto the appropriate network. For example, if you have netgear switches, you can very easily re-assign VLANs via their API.

It is imperative that the servers/APS2s are on separate layer 2 networks.
